Nick Dayton, a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, has over 20 years in the medical device and pharmaceutical business managing business process improvement, quality assurance and operations. He is available to consult on a wide variety of Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Improvement and Quality Assurance opportunities and concerns.
Nick has current management experience through corporate vice president level in a commercial products corporation, and director level plant, division, and corporate management experience in a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical and Medical Device corporation, in business process improvement, Lean Six Sigma and tactical and strategic quality, compliance, and operations management. His experience includes quality and compliance management in Consent Decree remediation efforts.
Nick's first PhD had a concentration in operations research.
His more recent graduate studies now include a second PhD in Social Sciences, from Universiteit van Tilburg, Oldendorff Research Institute, in the Netherlands, conducted jointly with the Taos Institute.
He is applying a combination of operations research methodologies and organizational psychology for a more holistic approach to business excellence and organizational transformation.
He is also a trained and Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with successful Six Sigma program deployment experience both in transactional and manufacturing arenas.
Nick is on the Board of Examiners for the Baldrige National Quality Program administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) of the U.S. Commerce Department.
